South Lodge Wedding Photography

South Lodge wedding photography | Ros and Chris’s wedding day. Held at St. Peter’s Church, Newdigate and The South Lodge Hotel, Horsham, West Sussex.

Karen and I met Ros and the bridesmaids, all in good spirits, at South Lodge Hotel.  First, we captured some images of the goings-on and shared laughs during bridal preps. We then made our way to St. Peter’s Church at Newdigate to catch up with the groom who was welcoming family and guests.  Newdigate Church is a lovely little church. The wedding ceremony went smoothly. Loved the stickers on the bottom of Chris’s shoes. 

Although the day did forecast rain, the weather held up enough for our newlyweds to enjoy the outside space at South Lodge Hotel with their guests for their drinks reception.  South Lodge wedding venue is set in 93 acres of Sussex parkland and has panoramic views of the South Downs which we were able to enjoy since the hotel organised for us to take a buggy and go explore and thankfully at that point, although we took umbrellas, we didn’t need them!

The wedding breakfast had some hilarious speeches in store for all. Dressing up was also part of the proceedings as you will see! Karen and I left the guests all in good spirits after the speeches to enjoy what was going to be a fun evening. It was a pleasure to share this couple’s special day with them.
