MV Photographers talk at Apple store, Regent street

Groomsmen smoking cigars at wedding reception

I’m proud to be a member of a group of the My Vision group (MV Photographers) which is a collective of some of the leading wedding and portrait photographers in the UK. Membership to the group is strictly by invitation only and boasts some of the most talented professional wedding and portrait photographers the field of social photography has to offer in the UK.

This Wednesday (9th November) as a part of photography week, the group will be giving a series of free talks at the Apple store in Regent Street (London W1) covering all aspects of social photography from documentary wedding photography to portraiture, and even personal projects. The talks will be illustrated with wedding and portrait photos taken by members of the group, and will provide a fascinating insight into how they were created: make no mistake, this is going to be a real treat for anybody at all interested in photography at it’s highest standard. Sadly, due to other commitments I can’t make it there – but if you can I would highly recommend it!

Talks start at midday and will run until around 8.30pm, each talk lasting around 15-20 minutes. In addition to the talks, a number of MV members will also be there to chat, answer questions and even provide a critique on your portfolio if you bring a few pictures along with you – so make a note, and get along to what is sure to be an incredibly inspiring event for all photographers, both professional and amateur.
