Kent Wedding London Golf Club

A windy September day for this lovely couple’s Kent wedding at St. Mary’s Church and The London Golf Club. The church wedding ceremony was followed by their wedding reception at The London Golf Club.
It was a very tranquil start in the Henry Cooper Room at the London Golf Club for Laura’s bridal preps. From there it was off to The Church of St Mary, Fawkham, set in a valley of the North Downs of Kent. This is a small but beautifully picturesque church. The wedding ceremony evoked lots of smiles from both the couple and their family and friends.
Before leaving for the London Golf Club, we had the opportunity to take a few wedding photos in a nearby meadow. The Dandelions provided a lovely splash of colour for some relaxed (but still romantic) wedding pictures. This type of wedding portrait is a lovely addition to any wedding album.
London Golf Club Reception
From there, everyone headed to The London Golf Club. A few drinks and canapés before the wedding breakfast and a chance to mingle! It was at this point we took the couple’s formal group photographs. This was a windy day, so this proved a little challenging! However, being familiar with the venue (we are recommended photographers at the London Golf Club) we knew where to find a less windy spot for the family group photos. We took shelter near the front of the golf club as we needed to think about the ladies’ hair!
Time flies on a wedding day, so it wasn’t long before the guests were seated for the wedding breakfast. After a lovely meal, the guests enjoyed some very entertaining speeches with laughs all round. From then on the drinks flowed and the laughter continued right up until we left. As is pretty usual, Rob and I left after the first dance and a few more dances. Laura and Simon are such a lovely couple, and we wish them all the very best in their future lives together.
