Katie and Colin’s Oaks Farm wedding

The marriage of Katie Steele and Colin Martynski at Oaks Farm Barn, Shirley in Surrey on Sunday 10th October 2010

Hi all,

Second post of the week and despite a heavy dose of man-flu I’m finally starting to catch up with myself before I disappear for a well earned break next week. 🙂

Today I’d like you to meet Katie and Colin who were married at Oaks Farm in Shirley.  After the rains of the previous week we were back to sunshine again for Katie and Colin’s wedding day.  Karen and I started the day by visiting Colin who was getting ready with the boys in Croydon just about five minutes from our place – and found Colin to be completely on top of things despite having to prepare the boys as well as himself.  The kids were also in fine form, obviously looking forward to the day!

Once Colin was ready we headed off to Oaks Farm to meet Katie, just as she finished getting ready in the cottage.  As you can see from the photo above, she looked stunning: very serene!  A few more photos and details, then on to the wedding ceremony itself.  Katie and Colin were great to photograph and I’ll be looking forward to showing them lots of pictures very soon… but for now… I hope you’ll enjoy the previews below:

We’re taking a short break for a week or so now, but don’t go too far away because we still have more weddings to show you yet.  In the meantime, I’ll be relaxing in the sun by the pool for a little while. 🙂
