First up, apologies to regular readers for the lack of updates in the last week or two – we have an ever-expanding queue of lots and lots of photos from recent weddings, newborn shoots and other things to show you, but they’ve been coming in so fast it’s all we can do to just keep up with them – so I’m afraid the blog updates have had to go on the back-burner for a while to give priority to getting the main work done for our couples. But fear not… we’re working all hours and hope to get things back on track again as soon as possible!

So… Claire and Stuart’s wedding took place on a hot, hot day, and was an absolute corker to photograph. Our first stop was to visit “Headmasters” the hairdressers in Bromley, where Claire was having the finishing touches applied to hair and make-up for the day…

No, they really didn’t take the bus to the wedding… but I enjoyed the photo anyway… 🙂

Once at the church, it was on with the wedding… the ceremony was relaxed and went off perfectly…

Uh-oh… shoe emergency! Stiletto heels and church grates don’t mix well together (or perhaps they actually fit together rather too well)…

With one minor shoe disaster suitably dealt with, it was then time for our newlyweds and bridal party to move on to Hartsfield Manor for the wedding reception…

With glorious weather, a steel band for entertainment and croquet on the lawn, you really couldn’t have hoped for more…

On to the wedding breakfast, speeches, and then finally, the first dance for our bride and groom:
