Alicia and Charles’ Oaks Farm Wedding Photography.

This is a very overdue blog…again! As explained, we are both so very busy, blogs are usually the last task on our list. This is so overdue in fact that Alicia and Charles have had a baby since their weddings!

I say weddings because today’s blog is a tale of two weddings. The first was a Ghanaian wedding under the pergola at Oaks Farm. The second was a traditional English church wedding at St John the Evangelist in Croydon with the reception back at Oaks Farm.

It was a scorching hot day – perfect for an outdoor ceremony. This was at the time when because of Covid, only 30 people could be present for the wedding. This made little difference to this fun-loving couple, since their family and friends enjoyed every minute of this long-awaited celebration, enjoying many touching and funny moments.

After drinks on the lawn at Oaks Farm, it was time for round two – the traditional English wedding ceremony. Alicia got ready again at Oaks Farm, however, Charles had to head back to Carshalton to change. The traffic back to Shirley was heavy that day, which made Charles late for the ceremony! It’s usually the bride, right? Anyway, Alicia remained composed and the couple were officially wed with minutes to spare!

Alicia and Charles are such a lovely couple and we really couldn’t be more pleased for them. They now have a beautiful baby girl whom we recently photographed under our other brand of Baby Shoots Photography
